Traditional Reiki Level 2 — is the next stage of initiation into the Reiki system. At this level, you are introduced to the sacred Reiki symbols, which significantly expand your ability to work with energy and awareness.

What Is Traditional Reiki Level 2

Traditional Reiki Level 2 represents a deeper immersion into Reiki practice.
At this stage, your energetic sensitivity expands, the flow through your energy channels becomes more refined, and a new level of understanding and trust in Reiki energy begins to develop.

The second level of Reiki opens additional possibilities for personal growth and life improvement through the use of Reiki symbols and the ability to offer Reiki sessions to others remotely and without physical contact.

Introduction to the Reiki Symbols

At this level, students are introduced to three traditional Reiki symbols passed down from Mikao Usui. These symbols act as focused keys for working with energy and intention.

By learning how to apply the Reiki symbols correctly, you develop the ability to direct and concentrate Reiki energy toward specific situations, areas, or intentions, allowing for more precise and intentional energy work that supports physical, mental, and emotional balance.

Distance Reiki and Working Beyond Physical Presence

On a subtler level, you learn to work both with yourself and with others as a Reiki channel.
The Reiki symbols support a deeper connection to energy, vibration, and intention, allowing Reiki to be shared beyond time and physical space. At Traditional Reiki Level 2, Reiki sessions are no longer limited to hands-on practice.
You learn how to offer Reiki remotely, without physical contact, and how to work with situations from the past or future in a conscious and supportive way.

Energetic and Inner Development

During initiation into Traditional Reiki Level 2, the Reiki Master works more closely with the etheric body to emotional, mental, and karmic patterns. Traditional Reiki Level 2 is a profound step into advanced practice and a deeper exploration of your inner world and the world of Reiki energy. It supports greater clarity, confidence, and presence in both personal practice and conscious energy work.

After initiation, Reiki energy remains available to you at any time, even if you take a long break from active practice.

Activating Reiki Is Simple

Reiki can be easily activated, regardless of your current state or situation. It remains available as a supportive and gentle energy whenever you choose to connect with it.

Reiki Cannot Be Taken from You

Reiki cannot be broken or taken away. Your connection to it remains stable and accessible over time.

With Reiki, you can always support yourself independently

With Reiki, you are able to support yourself in any situation and cultivate greater awareness and responsibility for your life path.

At Traditional Reiki Level 2

You can continue to practice both for yourself and with others, strengthening your skills in working with Reiki symbols and gradually deepening your sensitivity to their energy through distance practice.

It is recommended to engage in daily practice using the Reiki symbols. This may include a full Reiki self-session, distance Reiki, mental and intention-based Reiki practice, harmonizing spaces or relationships, as well as various meditative techniques and supportive practices.

If you have completed Traditional Reiki Level 1, you may receive initiation into Traditional Reiki Level 2 after 21 days. This step opens broader opportunities for working with Reiki energy through the conscious and focused use of Reiki symbols.
