Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu, is a revered Vedic goddess associated with abundance, good fortune, beauty, inner strength, and the principle of harmonious growth. She embodies both subtle, symbolic qualities and practical aspects of prosperity, reflecting the energy of expansion, grace, and favorable alignment.

Lakshmi is widely honored as a symbol of abundance in its broadest sense. Her name is often associated with “fortune,” while another of her names, Shri, conveys meanings of prosperity, radiance, happiness, and dignity.
